Space Studies Represented at IAC in Bremen, Germany
Dr. Pablo de León and campus M.S. student Nanette Valentour presented at the 69th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) that was held Sep 29-Oct 5 in Bremen, Germany. Dr. de León presented his paper, “Harald von Beckh, Pioneer of Microgravity Medical Research” with several descendants of Dr. von Beckh in the audience. Valentour presented her research, “Development of a Computational Lifting Body Glider Model for Flight Simulation Studies.” Recent Aerospace Science Ph.D. graduate, Dr. Kavya Manaypu ('17) also presented at IAC.
