Fall semester to include colloquium series
Starting fall 2010, the Department of Space Studies will organize a colloquium series in fall semesters, in addition to the traditional spring colloquium series. While the spring colloquium series will focus on the specific capstone topic, the fall series will include presentations by experts from a variety of fields.
The colloquium series is offered for one course credit each time, and may be repeated for up to two credits. All funded campus students are required to attend all talks whether or not registered for credit. For the benefit of distance students who are not registered for credit but wish to watch the presentation, all attempts will be made for live web cast as well as posting of recorded talks at www.space.edu
The instructor for the fall 2010 colloquium series is Dr. David Whalen and the spring 2011 series will be organized by Dr. James Casler. Please contact them should you require more information.
