Spacecraft Simulator Open House
Back to News
An open house for the second spacecraft simulator at UND will be held on Wednesday, April 15 from 2:00pm-3:30pm in Ryan Hall at the Spacecraft Simulator Facility on the upper mezzanine of Room 162. The simulator, a replica of SpaceShipOne, was built by the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium (NDSGC) and Cirrus Design Corporation. Cirrus donated the materials, the work space and much of the engineering know-how behind the project. The NDSGC, a NASA state-wide program that provides funding to enhance the research infrastructure in North Dakota, previously constructed a vertical launch spacecraft simulator. Both simulators will be on display at the open houses.
The public is invited to attend this open house to see first hand the quality project that developed through a partnership between UND and Cirrus.
Refreshments will be served.
