Thesis Proposal Presentation by John Shepard March 8th
Space Studies master’s student, John Shepard, will present his thesis proposal on Friday, March 8th. All Space Studies students and faculty are encouraged to attend.

Title: “Low Energy Transfer from LEO for large Inclination Change using Invariant Manifolds”
About the presenter: John is an Engineering Technologist at SAM Inc., where he works in collaboration with BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin in the development of the Aegis Combat System. As a member of the test and evaluation team the primary focus is on developing test procedures and reports to demonstrate system requirements and execute the procedures in a test environment for the NAVY. John is also a member of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard as a Cyber Operations Specialist, where is works as a system administrator in supporting the MQ-9 drone program.
