Another Successful Rocket Launch

STRIPE, a state-wide rocket project for college students in North Dakota and funded by the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, held another successful launch on October 1 just north of Fargo. The rocket was 12 feet long and one foot in diameter. On the rocket was a GPS tracker and complete telementary system. Another launch, which will have student payloads from several colleges, will occur later this month. Pablo de Leon in Space Studies, John Nordlie of RWIC and Tim Young of Physics at UND are the project's advisors.
