Title: Space Tourism Law
Abstract: Current space tourism regulations are the result of more than 50 years of international treaties, laws, and policies. Space tourism has international economic, social, and educational benefits for humanity. Many unresolved legal issues, however, remain that need to be addressed and resolved on an international level in order for space tourism to succeed and for these benefits to be realized. This presentation will address scenarios not addressed by current space tourism laws; common themes in space tourism law literature; specific legal issues that need to be addressed; and space tourism-related dichotomies that have been identified, and which require resolution.
