"The Search for New T Tauri Stars via BVRI Photometry".
I will presenting the results of my study of 10 suspected variable stars thought to also be T Tauri stars. T Tauri stars are very young stellar objects that have not yet reached the main sequence - ie, they are not adult stars. The variability that these stars exhibit can be due to several different things: a disc of matter orbiting around these objects, rotating hotspots on their surfaces and, in some cases, infalling matter impacting their surfaces.
