The University celebrated its 130th birthday with special employee and faculty recognitions and awards on Thursday, Feb. 28, during the Annual Founders Day celebration in the Memorial Union.  Dr. Paul Hardersen, Space Studies faculty member, received the UND Foundation/ Thomas J. Clifford Faculty Award for Graduate or Professional Teaching Excellence, including a monetary stiipend of $2,000.
