The goal of the faculty and staff is to guide, inform, stimulate, and present you with a variety of educational experiences to prepare you for placement in a space-related field.


The Department offers formal courses, seminars, discussions, and field trips to enrich your graduate education. Additionally, through the internet, telephone conferences, and personal appearances, such as with the Space Studies Colloquium, you will meet and interact with experts in the space field to stimulate your thinking about current and future space activities. As a graduate of the Masters of Science in Space Studies you will be a leader in this interdisciplinary endeavor of space exploration and the development of space.
